Warnings

Borosilicate glass 3.3: it withstands gradual heating, but not sudden changes in temperature. Do not use cracked or chipped pieces. Secure the set-up to a stable stand with clamps and never heat a closed system: there must always be an opening at atmospheric pressure. Do not distil to dryness. Use it only for its intended purpose, in the laboratory or for teaching.
